KEVIN NASH'S TWEETS ARE TOO SWEET FUNNY

Kevin Nash tweets comedy at an alarming rate. You already know this if you follow him:

drove around in the rain listening to the new Sade cd ,fuck I really am 50

being married to me for 23 years should be a 50,000 dollar dinner. then again, you don't live with us and dont knwo what a fucking dick i am

But the real gems come in the tweets that aren't posted in your news feed. I'm wetting my jeans over here.

@Tallas toss my salad and i'll think about it. kidding. just saying.

@greeeneyedwhwom Its my wifes birthday, not fucking feed the hungry. obviously youve never lived with me.

@swimbabe5409 sorry i havent been responsive i get very emotional during the winter games. I feel like i may have a yeast infection.

Some of these replies might even be funnier not knowing what was tweeted to him. But some, like this one, are better seeing both sides:

@RealKevinNash Can we please get one more night of kayfabe-wrecking commentary like you did on Thunder all those years ago?

@RedMachineD if they let me drink beer all night like they did back then

And then there are those that get better as they go along:

@HoneyMarieLopez it;s cool nothing wrong with a beautiful fan that enjoys my work

@HoneyMarieLopez if I followed you in the airport let alone on this my wife would give me the Jack Ruby treatment.

@HoneyMarieLopez thats kind of creepy feel like I should be in clown paint ,happy medium

then im off to see my therapist to see if i can get my sexual addiction under control. living the life.

And then there are the ones that make me realize maybe I shouldn't be posting this at all:

@WWEman07 suck my dick. your a faggot dont worry about responding youll be blocked before you read this. p.s i fucked your dad.

Just want to clear up that this is entirely genuine and not at all ironic. Kevin Nash you are a hilarious dude. Please don't fuck my dad!

WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU SPEND TOO MUCH TIME ON WIKIPEDIA: WRESTLEMANIA STATS

Way... way... too long. Stupidly obsessive.

WWE Magazine covered this sort of thing really well in their 25th Anniversary of WrestleMania issue, but I've put together some stats that they may have missed. Check it:

RANDOM WRESTLEMANIA TRIVIA
- Bradshaw and Faarooq were both winless at WrestleMania until teaming up as the APA.
- Both the Big Boss Man and Edge were undefeated until meeting the Undertaker at WrestleMania
- Earthquake was undefeated at Mania, until returning for the Gimmick Battle Royal at WMX7
- John Cena has never dropped a Title at WrestleMania
- Chris Benoit (who?) is the only man to wrestle for a World Title, the IC Title, the European Title, the US Title and a Tag Title at WrestleMania
- Kane has never lost a Championship match at WrestleMania
- The Dudley Boys have lost every match they've ever had at WrestleMania - all of which were for the Tag Team Titles
- While there are those that have lost every one of their WrestleMania matches, the Big Show sports the worst winning percentage at Mania that isn't just a straight-up goose egg. He's 1-8. He beat out Tito Santana by losing last year, as Tito is 1-7.
- Shane McMahon has never lost at WrestleMania. Vince McMahon has never won. I guess those punches really do pack some power!

While all of those facts are pretty interesting (uh... I hope. They are to me! :( ), the most relevant fact to this year's event has to be this:

No one has more wins at WrestleMania than the Undertaker... and nobody has more losses at Mania, than Shawn Michaels.

Here are some more comprehensive stats. Wrestlers still active in WWE as of today appear in bold:

I hope this has been as fascinating for you as it has been needlessly gruelling for me.

I was shocked by the fact that Jeff Hardy hasn't won a match at WrestleMania. That's crazy. Especially for a womanizer like him.

WWE NXT REVIEW: BEST (SHOW) IN THE WORLD

I LOVED this show. Holy crap. Never in my wildest dreams would I have thought that Danielson, upon his signing with the WWE, would be given such an amazing start.

They didn't change his character.

They didn't give him some wacky gimmick.

They didn't erase his history.

They let him be the American Dragon.

And placed him in one of the most talked about feuds to ever happen - BEFORE it even began airing on TV.

AND HE WRESTLED CHRIST JERICHO. CMON BAYBAYYY.

Okay, my nerd boner is showing. Let's get down to what I liked and didn't like.

WWE NXT: 02/23/10
LIKE: DANIEL BRYAN
DIDN'T LIKE: MICHAEL COLE - FOR A REAL REASON THIS TIME!

LIKED
- The entire feel of the show. From the different camera angles, to the hype videos, to the backstage stuff to start the show, even to the theme song, I am WILD (and young) for this show.
- Daniel Bryan winning fans over in front of our very eyes. When he strolled out and launched into his "impress Miz" speech, the fans weren't really behind him. But as the segment went on, you could almost see him settling in, getting more comfortable, and by the end - he was getting serious cheers.
- Daniel Bryan's gimmick. Because it's not a gimmick. He's just American Dragon. If Miz slaps him, he laughs, because he's a tough bastard. If someone's going to tell him he has no charisma, he gets in the ring and nearly taps the World Champion. Maybe it was because I was so nervous watching the show because I have emotion invested in Bryan Danielson as if he were my Dad, but I enjoyed this show on a stupid crazy level.
- All of the hype videos. Especially for Tarver and Otunga. Otunga comes off like a champ already.
- The tag match was good, I love me some Christian. Heath Slater
- CM Punk and the Straight-Edge Society's behaviour towards Darren Young. When they walked out without even looking at him, and Punk pulled Serena in closer to him as if Young was a homeless person they were trying to ignore on the street, I bust a gut laughing. This pairing will be another highlight for this show each week.
- Wade Barrett's brown-note baritone voice.
- Daniel Bryan vs. Chris Jericho. We've all thought about it. It actually happened. I shed a tear of joy for anyone who has fantasy booked this match in their mind. Bryan took a huge dive to the outside and clobbered himself into the announce table in a scary spot. I think I whimpered in fear as it happened. Jericho's selling of the heel hook was so perfect. And...
- LIONTAMER
- Miz slapping Bryan around after his match. This closed the show off perfectly, and I literally can't wait for next Tuesday.

DIDN'T LIKE
- Michael Cole. Normally he's in the "didn't like" as more of a joke than anything. But tonight, he set my nerdy emotions ABLAZE. And I LOVED IT. This is only in the "didn't like" because of how good Cole was in touching on every nerve a smark has. He got me so riled up that I just wanted to see Danielson prove him wrong, and Josh Matthews to shut him up. Brilliantly played, be it real, fake or a mix of both. And now with Michael Cole's latest comment, they are taking it to the next level. Just take a look through all of the comments made by people on WWEUniverse's Twitter. People are fuming.

NXT is my new favourite show. Seeing Danielson every week, and his impending encounters with Jericho, Miz, Christian... and of course, CM Punk, will be awesome to watch. Plus there are some other good rookies (Otunga, Barrett) to watch develop as well.

Wrestling is always a lot more fun to watch when you have something invested in one of the guys wrestling. When I was younger, it was any babyface winning a belt. If Undertaker had a match and it sucked, but he won the belt, I was ecstatic.

Now, for me at least, when a guy like Danielson shows up, who you followed in ROH, saw wrestle live on more than one occasion - you actually give a shit about what happens to him. There are other guys you care about on the roster too, but there is something more real about watching a guy who you knew before he appeared on WWE TV. You want him to succeed so badly.

FOOTAGE FROM TYLER BLACK'S ROH WORLD TITLE WIN

From ROH's Twitter:

I can't wait to see this show. Just got Final Battle '09, so it'll be cool to watch that and 8th Anniversary almost back to back, just for the NYC reaction.

Tyler also has a blog here, and while we're in ROH blog-type news, how about Claudio's Cafe?

I'm getting psyched for ROH on the 20th in Mississauga, plus just a couple weeks after that, ROH will debut in North Carolina streaming live on GoFightLive (see banner at the bottom of the page).

UPDATE FROM LAST NIGHT'S REVIEW: HBK/TAKER VIDEO

I'm sure it'll get taken down soon, so enjoy while it lasts:

RAW REVIEW - 02/22/10: LIKE

I was so sure that tonight's show was going to let me down in some sort of reverse-psychology booking. It looked like it could be a great show, and dare I say, I was entertained from start to finish. From what I've read so far, tonight's show got a bit of a mixed reaction, so here's my like/didn't like for the night:

MONDAY NIGHT RAW 02/22
LIKE: HBK MONTAGE | DIDN'T LIKE: MICHAEL COLE

LIKED
- Chris Jericho gloating. Because he is the best in the world at what he does. Gloating.
- The entire Jericho/Edge opening segment. It was super to-the-point, felt chaotic, and got me jacked for their upcoming match at WM26. With these guys most likely appearing on both shows for the next 5 weeks or whatever it is, we could be in for some glorious, glorious stuff.
- John Cena's music cutting Michael Cole off. It gave me the feeling of a wild, crazy show that 97 was all about. It really felt like they weren't expecting him at all. Sadly, what followed wasn't quite as good.
- Jewel slapping Jillian with Hardcore Holly type force. "Why does everybody keep slapping me?!" - Jillian is so fucking hilarious.
- All things Legacy. I've been loving the Cody/Ted "tattle-tale" angle that's been going on for a while now, and tonight it was great. The whole cliffhanger line of "sticking with the plan" before going to commercial was great too.
- Wanna know what else was GREAT (I use the word great a lot)? The six-man tag with Legacy losing to Evan Bourne, Kofi Kingston and Yoshi Tatsu. Right when they came out, I'm pretty sure we dubbed them the International JOB Squad. Not because they're jobbers, but because they seemed like they were just randomly thrown together to be fed to Legacy. They totally just looked like they were going to get punked out. Then with Orton's sweet attack on Cody and Ted, they picked up the win. Really fun to watch. Especially Ted's foaming at the mouth. But more importantly, Bourne, Kofi and Yoshi deserved a big win like that, and they looked awesome tonight.
- The highlight of the show for me though was the Shawn Michaels/Undertaker video packagethat aired. Literally gave me chills. If you weren't into that, you need a break from wrestling, because you are dead on the inside. Best video they've done in recent memory. In fact, I'd like someone to point me to a better one. Only because I would really like to see it.
- Taker/HBK promo. While it was slow, and the crowd didn't help it, after that video package I was hooked 4LIFE. Plus - Career vs. Streak at Mania? So help me god Punk, if Shawn Michaels retires at WrestleMania, I guarantee that this grown man will cry his nerdy little eyes out.
- Christian qualifying for the MITB. The match itself was pretty fucking haywire, but entertaining maybe for that reason alone. If Christian can come out of WM26 with that briefcase, and Edge walks out with the WHC... a time bomb will be ticking that I can't wait to see explode.
- The NXT talking heads. That, paired with Daniel Bryan making his first TV appearance (albeit short) kept me interested for tomorrow. I like that old school build of just giving a guy twenty seconds to say something while we wait for the match to start.
- ShoMiz bringing some much needed comic relief to the bull riding segment. The Miz in unstoppable on the mic. His "...really?" right after coming out was gold. I seriously hope we see more of both of these guys on Smackdown! too.
- Batista. He's been nothing short of amazing as a heel. He's such a goddamned DICKHEAD. The whole intentional DQ, followed by a beatdown was awesome, and I think this match will kill at WrestleMania. The first go-round at SummerSlam was good, but now with some serious heat, it should be really good.

DIDN'T LIKE
- The logic of the Cena/Vince segment. Cena comes out and DEMANDS his rematch with Batista. Vince comes out and says no, but if you beat this guy, you'll get your rematch. Cena: "WHO IS IT?! I'LL TAKE ANYONE ON! NEVER GIVE UP!!!" Vince: "Batista." Cena: "No, not Batista!":(
- Maryse vs. Gail Kim. Something totally weird happened near the end. Couldn't tell if Gail knocked herself silly again, or if someone missed a cue, or WHAT, but the match was BIZARRE.
- The incestual (is that a word) Bella Twins' awkward bullride. Was that supposed to be sexy? I hope not. Come on now.
- Ty Murray and Jewel. Okay, they really weren't as bad as I thought they were going to be, and Ty even showed a sliver of charisma during the bullriding segment. Maybe I'm just transferring my hate of the guest hosts to them personally.
- John Cena's D-Von Dudley seizure selling of the steel chair.
- One of the most shocking things about this show was that there was no Sheamus, and no Triple H. Both of which I found really surprising... and confusing. Now don't get me wrong, I am not either of these guys' biggest fan. But Triple H and Shawn have some serious unfinished business, and Sheamus was just WWE Champion two champions ago! (a.k.a. last night)
- Michael Cole. And more specifically his incessant giggling during the bullriding segment. Made my brain leak out my ears.

I thought this was a great show all round. If we get a WrestleMania card of Cena/Tist, Edge/Jericho, Shawn/Taker, Rey/Punk, MITB... I think we're in for a treat. But I've been tricked before.

I really hope Punk shows up next week.

That is all. See you for the Daniel Bryan hour tomorrow night.

RAW PREVIEW - 02/22/10: DANIEL BRYAN

THAT IS ALL. GET PSYCHED UP.

From PWInsider:

Daniel Bryan, formerly Bryan Danielson, will make his on-screen debut tonight on Raw. The former ROH Champion will appear in a backstage vignette with The Miz.

The vignette is being done to promote the debut of NXT on SyFy tomorrow night.

There was talk about doing another angle on the show with the two as well, but at this time it hasn't been confirmed.

WWE ELIMINATION CHAMBER REV-- NO WAIT: THIS POST HAS BEEN HIJACKED!

Kinda like WWE PPV cards! Hey, I'm not complaining. WWE has conditioned me to expect zany outcomes on PPV, and last night didn't disappoint (in zaniness):

- 3 World Title changes!
- 3 Title Matches scheduled, 2 added on the fly, 1 postponed 'til who knows when!
- A guy who wasn't advertised as wrestling for the WWE Title walked out of the PPV with it!

And this was one of the less zany WWE PPVs!

As for why this post is being hijacked, it's because I just saw this:

"Just announced: MONEY IN THE BANK Qualifying Matches will begin TONIGHT on Raw. Watch LIVE at 9/8 CT on @USA_Network!! #WWE"

So, we can take a few things from this:

1) Money In The Bank is happening TWICE this year
2) There will be some serious shenanigans where the qualifiers are postponed, or the winners go on to fight at the PPV this summer (which would be like a 7 month build, so don't expect this).
3) The Money In The Bank winner will defend his briefcase in a second MITB match in the summer or some crazy shit
4) I don't know
5) They don't know either (likely)

Now that I've covered this business, and discovered that RAW should be a decent program tonight (until my brain remembers that Jewel and her Z-list celebrity husband are in charge), on to a like/didn't like review of last night's show:

WWE ELIMINATION CHAMBER REVIEW
LIKE: CHRIS JERICHO | DIDN'T LIKE: MICHAEL COLE

LIKED
- The action-entertainment drama of the Elimination Chamber matches. From the anticipation of who would be in the pods (lol pods) to who would come out of them first, it makes for good fun (and some hilarious shots of guys standing in a glass case of emotion).
- The Randy Orton/Ted DiBiase/Legacy feud taking another step forward. Loved Ted pinning Orton in his hometown.
- Orton gingerly throwing Cena over the top, essentially by the belt loop on his denim jorts.
- Sheamus selling Kofi's leg-kicks like they were setting his legs on fire. Can't tell if it was good selling or just hilarious.
- Drew McIntyre's badass new theme/entrance (I missed the SD that is debuted). He looks like Link. But Evil Link. So DARK LINK.
- All of the Daniel Bryan talk on the PPV. So much. And so, so good. Miz's interview rocked, and MVP even stepped it up for the paying customers.
- Big Show acting as annoying as Miz. His face annoys me so goddamn much. That big ugly bastard.
- CM Punk bringing his sermon all the way into the Chamber.
- The WHC Chamber Match, I thought, was the better of the two. Complete with Jericho hiding in a pod, which was so awesomely funny. And he's the champ! Jericho as the Champion = great television. It's axiomatic.
- Undertaker nearly catching on fire (WALKING THROUGH HELLFIREANDBRIMSTONE) and getting so pissed that I was scared he was going to actually murder someone once he got out of his pod.
- Shawn kicking Taker's face out of his face.

DIDN'T LIKE
- John Cena scoring an 8th World Title reign, only to hand it to Batista, only to (future obvious spoilers) win it back (9x) at Mania. These thirty second reigns are what make the WWE what it is now - ZANY.
- All of the changes to the card. I guess there were only two (barring Batista's impromptu title shot), but I was excited to see the Divas Title Tournament Finals, and announcing during the PPV that Miz will defend his belt against MVP on PPV, is stupid, considering it just happened last month. Sure, MVP pinned Miz, but it was in a tag match, so wouldn't you assume that should lead to a Tag Title shot? I hate when logic stares you right in the face, and it's ignored like that.
- Miz vs. MVP. The match was so slow, and so full of sloppy MVP wrestling. Am I the only one that thinks MVP looks tired and slow in every match he has?
- Recaps on PPV. I like hype videos and stuff... but recapping Bret/Vince, or what happened earlier in the night (who tunes into a PPV halfway through to need a recap from earlier in the night?) come off as super-obvious filler.
- Punk getting eliminated so early. But that's just because I have a total crush on him.
- Michael Cole.

With the MITB Qualifiers, Shawn/Taker business, Edge choosing his 'Mania opponent, the Batista/Cena confrontation (yes I'm actually into it), and Jewel and Cowboy Whoever tearing it up on the mic (fml), it should be a half-decent show!

If my life was a movie this is the part where it would cut to me four hours from now crying in a fit of rage after a terrible RAW, because I always seem to get excited for shows and have the rug pulled out from under me.

No more complaining! I'll just watch the show and hopefully have a good time. Or at the very least Jewel will botch someone's name and I'll laugh myself off the couch.
