ROH WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH
AUSTIN ARIES VS. TYLER BLACK - THERE WILL BE A WINNER

REASONS I'M EXCITED
- The hour long World Title draw between Black and Aries at Final Battle '09 split the New York crowd right down the middle in at least two different ways: half the crowd wanted Black to win, half the crowd wanted Aries to win - plus, half the crowd LOVED the match (me... well... at home on GoFightLive), half the crowd HATED the match. The rematch should set the crowd on fire, whether they riot against Tyler Black, Austin Aries, the finish or just for what will be an insane main event.
- Kenny King, Roderick Strong and Jim Cornette will be at ringside, judging the contest as it unfolds. This pretty much sets up the fact that A Double can't pull any of his stalling-shenanagans, and in order to guarantee a win, both guys have to go all-out, all the time.
- Tyler Black will not be the same man after this weekend. If he wins, he enters the history books as the 12th man to be ROH World Champion. But if he loses... with the stakes as high as they are and the playing field as even as it is... I seriously fear for his mental state.
ROH WORLD TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH
THE BRISCOES VS. DARK CITY FIGHT CLUB

REASONS I'M EXCITED
- This match has crazy potential to be a wild brawl, and with the Kings of Wrestling (Kings reign SUPREME) in the building, there's really no telling what could happen.
- With the Young Bucks gone, Steen crushing Generico, and the American Wolves seemingly focusing more on singles action as of late, the Tag Team Division in ROH has gone from a fast-paced, high-flying scene to a more smashmouth, brawl 'til you fall (is that a phrase?) style that the Briscoes and DCFC are at the forefront of.
- I'm just excited to see these guys beat the crap out of each other.
FIRST TIME EVER IN RING OF HONOR
RODERICK STRONG VS. BRIAN KENDRICK
REASONS I'M EXCITED
- Roderick Strong is easily the greatest wrestler everyone always seems to forget about, and I mean that in the best way. When Roddy replaced Danielson to team with KENTA against the Wolves, most people felt a little underwhelmed. I don't know why. It was one of my favourite matches of last year. Strong is the man.
- This is Kendrick's first match in ROH since leaving I don't know how long ago - the crowd reaction should be awesome.
GRUDGE MATCH
KEVIN STEEN VS. COLT CABANA

REASONS I'M EXCITED
- This.
- We could potentially see the return of the Colt Cabana who took a beating from Homicide some years ago.
- Kevin Steen makes me cry.
SPECIAL CHALLENGE MATCH
EL GENERICO VS. DAVEY RICHARDS

REASONS I'M EXCITED
- There needs to be almost no explanation to this - Davey and Generico tore it up last year fighting over the tag straps.
NO RULES
NECRO BUTCHER & EDDIE KINGSTON VS. ERICK STEVENS & JOEY RYAN

REASONS I'M EXCITED
- Butcher AND Kingston in a NO RULES TAG BRAWL?! This could be nasty as all heck.
PLUS
- Kenny King puts his number 4 Pick 6 spot up against Rasche Brown, Delirious and Steve Corino
- The Kings of Wrestling demand a match!
The only thing holding this show back is that it's not available on GoFightLive. Looks like I'll have to wait for the DVD.
But still, this card has a ton of potential, there isn't a match that I don't want to see, and I can't wait to see how the New York crowd reacts.
Just please. For the love of God Punk. No twinkies chant.
