WRESTLING WEEKENDS = 4 FOR 4 5 FOR 5

Just a quick note:

Two weekends ago - Awesome DGUSA PPV

This past weekend - EVOLVE2

This weekend - ROH in Toronto, Destinaton X on PPV

Next weekend - WRESTLEMANIA

UPDATE

Weekend after that - The Big Bang - ROH's Debut in Charlotte on GoFightLive!

Something to look forward to at the end of each week, all from different companies.

And tonight there's three wrestling shows on, which will be the norm for who knows how long. Pretty decent time to be watching wrestling when you look at it that way.

I'm off to go walk around shirtless in a leather vest to get myself psyched up for tonight.

WHOA: DAVEY RICHARDS PULLED FROM DGUSA, EVOLVE EVENTS

Thanks to Monkey Man for alerting me to such a puzzling tweet from Gabe himself.

Can't really guess what the hell this means. Either way, it's bizarre. Hopefully nothing super crazy.

In other news, Smackdown! is off to a wild start. Should destroy RAW yet again. Even with the bait and switch of Teddy Long changing the Tag Title match to two new singles matches, it's still going to be a good lineup.

But seriously WTF DAVEY?! I can only speculate that he got EVEN MORE COMPETITIVE and kicked Gabe's booking book of secret booking plans into his face, then EVOLVED into a DRAGONZORD.

I don't know what any of this means, I'm just all hyped up on Smackdown.

And here's the deets for EVOLVE2, so far:

- And Chris Hero makes his EVOLVE debut

I was surprised to see Hero's name.

Still no main event announced for the card, but I'm curious to see what will follow Davey/Kota, which sounded pretty badass.

EVOLVE DEBUTS TONIGHT - WITH TOMMY DREAMER?

Or so it seems.

I feel like it's a weird choice. Actually, I feel like a lot of EVOLVE is kinda weird. At first, it seemed like this whole holier-than-thou thing that was about being soooo much better than all other indy wrestling, and at the same time being all like "but EVOLVE isn't a style, k?!"

So having Tommy Dreamer there, while cool and all (I do like Dreamer), seems to take away from the entire EVOLVE concept. Maybe I'm just missing the point. And no matter what all the hype is trying to say, the wrestling should be good.

Tonight seems like a decent show, and worth seeing if only for the epic main event of Davey Richards vs. Kota Ibushi. And the return of Jimmy Jacobs:

And I have no idea what the fuck that means.

Guess #1: Big site design change

Guess #2: Massive roster announcement

Guess #3: I don't know. Because EVOLUTION IS A MYSTERY.
